DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Fast and the Curious is a ten-part lecture series for 
 the 2025 academic year that will feature the Fast and Furious franchise. 
 Although Fast and Furious is popular and commercially successful\, it has 
 also had a fascinating impact on car culture\, automotive design and 
 technology\, and features significant representation of Black\, Latine\, 
 and Asian communities.  \n\nThis session will feature speakers TBA and 
 we'll screen the fifth film in the franchise\, Fast and Furious 
 6.\n\nHosting in partnership with the UVA Motorsports Club and the 
 Scholars' Lab.\n\nSeating is limited so please register for each event!
