Endnote vs. Zotero

Endnote vs. Zotero

Choosing a bibliographic manager like Endnote or Zotero can feel like a major decision very early in your work that you’ll be locked into with no second chances. Often, it’s recommended that you use the same platform as others in your department. But no one agrees on what is the best platform, and there are pros and cons for all of them. In this workshop, librarians Maggie Nunley and Jenny Coffman will focus on EndNote and Zotero. This session is ideal whether you need to select a platform or have been using one for years and want to see what you may be missing. We’ll cover the tools and features that they share as well as their strengths and weaknesses, highlight tips and tricks, and lead discussion on how to integrate these platforms into your research and writing process.
