This session will demonstrate Libra, the University of Virginia’s open access institutional repository, the online archive of scholarship created by the University community. It provides a central, stable location for the scholarly output (journal articles, datasets, theses/dissertations, etc.) of the University community.Libra has three parts: LibraETD, LibraData (a local Dataverse repository), and LibraOpen.
In addition to LIbra, this session will demonstrate how to create and use ORCID - a unique researcher identifier, used worldwide, that you can keep throughout your life and retain even if you move institutions. You can connect your ORCID with your professional information — affiliations, grants, publications, peer review, and the UVa Libra Repositories.
