EHD Fall Library Orientation and Tour (In-person)
Designed for new and incoming School of Education and Human Develpoment students. New to UVA and looking to learn about the best study spaces, support services, and the library's Education collections? Ashley Hosbach, your friendly Education Librarian will take you on a walking tour of:
- Clemons Library
- The Teacher Education Children's Collection in the Brown Science and Engineering Library
Ashley will also cover:
- searching with the Virgo online library catalog and checking out books
- placing InterLibrary Loan and purchase requests
- using library e-books (the good and the ugly)
- streaming video collections
- a brief overview of top education research databases
