Open Educational Resources: Intellectual Property & Copyright [A recording of the session will be available on the LibGuide.]

Understanding the intellectual property is key to effective use, remixing, and creation of open educational resources (OER). In this workshop, learn about Creative Commons licenses and how to fairly incorporate copyright content, including student work, in OER. Gain confidence in explaining the basics of copyright to faculty and learn when to refer them to Brandon Butler for more detailed questions. Bring your own questions and scenarios as we engage in a thoughtful conversation about this important topic. This is the third in a series of workshops centered on OER that the Library is offering this semester.
