Thank You Picnic
Dear Library Staff and Colleagues,
Enjoy parties? Games? Food? Swag? Your colleagues? Seeing old friends and meeting new ones? An extended lunch break?
Please join us on August 10, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, to reconnect with your colleagues, meet new faces (we've hired ten new employees in the past year!), and enjoy a casual picnic from KITCHEN(ette).
There will be games (corn hole or ladder golf, anyone?), giveaways with custom UVA Library swag, and fun that you won’t want to miss. Some seating will be available — but if you'd prefer to bring your own chair or picnic blanket, please do so!
Come for a moment or stay the whole time — the picnic is an opportunity for the Library to say “Thank You” for your hard work and dedication during these unique and challenging times.
Please RSVP and register by Monday, August 2. Please be sure to include any dietary restrictions.

We have reserved the Dabney Grove Pavilion as well as the large room on the main floor of 4105 Lewis and Clark Dr that opens onto a patio behind the building, so there will be indoor space as well as outdoor space. There is ample free parking, accessible restrooms, and anyone who wants to tour the office spaces on the 4th floor may do so.
Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather, the picnic will take place the following day, Aug 11, at the same time and location.
