Data Management Forum: Describing the why, who, what, when, where, & how of data
Join us for an open discussion forum on research data management (RDM) practices. We’ll share resources from the RDM Libguide ahead of time and invite participants to come discuss their data management questions, or just jump in to listen to the conversation. The second forum will emphasize topics around data description, including: descriptive file names, using standard terminology and consistent codes, matching data and metadata, data dictionaries, defining parameters, spatial location and date/time formats, derivative datasets, dataset organization, file and project descriptions, storage formats, dataset identifiers, and data citations.
