Design for How People Learn Book Talk: Part I

Join Bethany Mickel and Cecelia Parks in a discussion of the first two chapters of Design for How People Learn by Julie Dirksen. In the first session of this series, we invite you to join the conversation as we talk about learning gaps, motivation, connecting with your learners, scaffolding instruction for both new and experienced learners, and more. This informal conversation is an opportunity to share successes and challenges as well as come together to collaboratively problem solve issues related to pivoting instruction online. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to hearing different perspectives and challenges. While we encourage you to read/skim the first two chapters of Design for How People Learn (available in ebook format from UVA Library), doing so isn't necessary in order to participate.

Feel free to reach out to Bethany or Cecelia with any questions or to learn more about the book.
