This one-day workshop will introduce attendees to the fundamentals of programming shared memory (single node) applications. OpenACC will be discussed as a basic introduction to the concepts of GPU programming. Attendees will use Rivanna, the University's high-performance computing cluster. Those who do not have accounts will be provided temporary access.
Prerequisite: Students should be proficient in C/C++/Fortran and able to use the Unix command line.
