Statistical Methods in Matlab
The workshop introduces descriptive statistics and data fitting using Matlab. It covers techniques for exploring data, performing interpolations, and curve fitting. We will explore statistical visualizations, probability distributions, fitting regression models, evaluating goodness-of-fit, Linear and nonlinear interpolation.
Matlab is available to UVA affiliated researchers. Experience with Matlab at the level of Matlab Fundamentals is recommended. Please bring a laptop in order to participate.
