High Performance Python

High Performance Python

Python is a popular and powerful programming language, but its performance lags that of many other languages. In this workshop we will cover tips and tricks to improve your Python programs’ performance. We will also cover using multiple cores and nodes to parallelize Python.

Rivanna is available to UVA affiliated researchers. Experience with Python and familiarity with the Linux command line interface is recommended. Experience with UVA’s HPC environment is beneficial but not required. Be sure to bring a laptop in order to participate.
