Mellon Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute  of Museum and Library Services, the National Science Foundation, the Getty Foundation, the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, Sun Microsystems, IBM, the Library of Congress, the Trust for Mutual Understanding, the AT&T Foundation, and Sprint-Centel.
