Virtual Reality: Intro to Unity and VR Development

Virtual Reality: Intro to Unity and VR Development

Virtual Reality is an emerging technology that has a lot of interesting use cases and even more untapped potential! Have you ever wondered how you can make VR applications yourself? In this workshop you will learn the basics of using the free 3D game engine Unity and how to incorporate the SteamVR SDK to allow you to create applications that leverage the power of VR devices like the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift! At the end of the workshop you will have a demo VR application that allows you to do basic interactions with virtual objects and more importantly the foundational knowledge needed to create applications using the SteamVR SDK and Unity!

Note: Please bring your computer  to the workshop with Unity installed if you wish to have hands-on practice. Here's the link to download Unity.
