Josh St. Hill: A Live Performance and Conversation with A.D. Carson

Join us for a conversation with and performance by Josh St. Hill, Monticello High School student and artist. St. Hill wrote the award-winning “A King’s Story,” which tells the story of a black teen murdered by the police. In addition to the brilliant writing, St. Hill was the lead actor and punctuated the story with powerful raps. We are excited to have St. Hill make noise with his consciousness-raising hip-hop in this event moderated by UVA Assistant Professor of Hip-Hop, A.D. Carson. This event is presented by the University Library and the Making Noise series. A reception will follow at 6pm.
