Join our Education and Human Development Librarian, Ashley Hosbach-Wallman, to learn about the PAUSE AI Literacy Framework. PAUSE encourages students/practitioners to "pause", reflect ,and think critically about their AI use. PAUSE breaks AI literacy into five dimensions — Purpose, Assess, Uncover, Safeguard, Empower — each scaled from a student's own reasoning outward to the tool itself and the wider systems it sits within.

Come ready to leave with a framework you can adapt for your own classroom, plus discussion prompts for the harder conversations — bias, labor, surveillance, and what scholarly integrity looks like in an AI-saturated world. This session will be held online via Zoom.
