SUMMARY:Ethical AI Use & Best Practices
DESCRIPTION:As AI tools become a part of everyday work\, using them
responsibly is more important than ever. This workshop explores the ethical
side of AI use\, from understanding bias and data privacy to knowing when
human judgement should take the lead. You’ll learn about using
“better” language models than the frontier versions in popular
chatbots\, data privacy\, protecting sensitive information\, and frameworks
for using AI tools thoughtfully. \n\nOur policy is that we do not record
live workshops in order to encourage robust Q&A. However\, you can always
find the full workshop materials for all of our workshops at:
 https://library.virginia.edu/data/training/past-workshops which allows you
to work through the material at your own pace. We also encourage you to
reach out to the instructor at any time for a one-on-one consult\, and for
specific or general questions about any of the topics we cover.\n\n\n\n\n
