Working with genomic data on HPC

An introduction to genome assembly and annotation. We will go over ways to assess genome assembly statistics, optimal practices for downloading genomic data and ways to assemble and analyze data via slurm scripts. For UVA users only. An HPC account is recommended, as is the Intro to HPC tutorial: https://www.rc.virginia.edu/support/#office-hours
 
Requirements: HPC account, familiarty with working at the command line.
