In this workshop on reproducible analysis, we will cover two tools that are handy and broadly applicable to research projects using R. First, we briefly review RStudio Projects to create a project-oriented workflow in your R scripts. The second part of the workshop introduces the concept of "literate programming," where executable code and natural language are combined in the same document, using Quarto (an updated, multi-language version of R Markdown). We will work with an R Markdown document and examine its features and functionality, including visualizations and citations.
Our policy is that we do not record live workshops in order to encourage robust Q&A. However, you can always find the full workshop materials for all of our workshops at: https://library.virginia.edu/data/training/past-workshops which allows you to work through the material at your own pace. We also encourage you to reach out to the instructor at any time for a one-on-one consult, and for specific or general questions about any of the topics we cover.
