ABCs of the UVA Library: Pandemic Artists' Books Gallery Talk

Join curator Brenda Gunn for an engaging talk (just for Library staff!) closing the run of ABCs of the UVA Library: Pandemic Artists’ Books, an exhibition that reflects on the personal and collective experiences of COVID‑19 through the intimate and inventive medium of the artist’s book. Drawing from works acquired since 2022 for the Small Special Collections Library, Gunn will discuss how artists transformed fear, isolation, resilience, and activism into handcrafted narratives that document this unprecedented moment in recent history.

Meet in the Flowerdew Gallery (just to the left once you enter Harrison/Small) at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6. Afterwards, we'll decorate and enjoy homemade "P" is for Pandemic Artists' Books cookies in the South Gallery. Space is limited, thanks for registering!
