Workshop: Using Omeka for Digital Collections and Exhibitions

Omeka is an open-source content management system for online digital collections. It allows users to describe, publish, and exhibit cultural heritage objects, and adapt its functionality with themes and plugins. Omeka is designed with non-IT specialists in mind, so users can focus on content and interpretation rather than programming. Researchers, librarians, and other curators may find it useful for presenting their collections online. Educators may guide students in creating their own exhibits on course subjects.

This workshop will be hands-on, and no previous experience is needed. It is free and open to all. Walk-ins are welcome, but due to limited seating, we strongly encourage registering.
